Jim Bartlett - Founder / Director of Operations
A farm kid from Maine, Jim has spent decades in Foreign service, International Development, and Emergency Management.
Returning after 20yrs foreign service, he focused his talents into emergency operations and land management issues with the US Forest Service. Building on his prior foreign service and military experience, it has honed his management team skills to a fine edge.
A keen observor of agricultural practices worldwide, he returns to the sector with a broad knowledge of ReGen AG practices.
Jean-Paul Lausell - Operational Partner / CFO
Jean-Paul holds a MBA in Finance from the Yale School of Management and an MA in International Relations, also of Yale University. He has 20yrs in the CFO space in VC and tech startups.
His involvement in ReGenerative Agriculture is likewise extensive. In 2019 he joined the team at Hickory Nut Gap, an emerging, ReGen brand in Fairview, NC. He restructured the management team and finance / accounting functions, positioning the company for rapid growth.
He has decades of non-profit involvement in the Regenerative Agriculture movement as a CFO and mentor to emerging ReGen brands across Appalachia.
Chris Larson - Operational Partner / Grazing Management
A graduate of Virginia Tech in Aerospace Engineering (BS), Chris went on to serve 9yrs as a USAF Special Operations Officer.
He brings highly refined systems analysis skills to the ReGen AG operations space.
He currently owns and operates Grass Guzzlerz LLC which specializes in regenerative grazing practices on marginal lands. His knowledge of ruminants and the complexities of forage types in the SE is encyclopedic.
Hobbs Margaret - Advisory Board / Climate Adapted Livestock
His experiments with breeding climate adapted, legacy Spanish breeds with African cattle from Zimbabwe have been so successful that it has started a movement.
His foundational view is that we need to see cattle as more than a commodity measured in pounds. They are grassland maintenance engineers who play a key role in ReGen ecosystem health.
Don Gibson - Service Provider / Certified Crop Advisor
For over 30 years Don has been working with the Natural Resource Conservation Service (NRCS) on cover crop recommendations and planting techniques. He has deep knowledge of government rules, regulations, and the various programs that can help ReGen operations nationwide.
ST Biologicals provides one-on-one mentoring, products, and resources. Their mission is to help producers transition to regenerative farming—without wasting time and money on trial and error.

She went on to work as a Senior Business Analyst and Engagement Manager for McKinsey & Company.
Her firm, Good Agriculture, is a consulting and services provider dealing with USDA Organics certification and admin services in the AG sector.

Ecological Outcome Verification (EOV) is the Savory Institute’s scientific monitoring protocol that tracks a suite of indicators of ecosystem health (carbon, water, biodiversity) and informs management decisions for desired outcomes.
